You can expect to have a certain amount of swelling, bruising and pain after your procedure. Some men have very little while some have a lot. There is no way we can predict what it will be like for a given individual, although almost all of our patients walk out of our office and return to non-strenuous activity immediately. We recommend avoiding strenuous physical activity for two weeks and sexual activity for four weeks. Medication for pain is prescribed as needed.
It is important to realize that you are not going to look perfect immediately. Ordinarily, most of the swelling is gone within two to three weeks, and the incision is usually healed by this time also. Some men will have a temporary change in sensitivity, either increased or decreased. Whenever there are any changes, sensation usually returns to normal within 8-12 weeks.
We recommend the use of traction, usually beginning at 3-4 weeks after the procedure, to help maximize the results as quickly as possible. This is not required, but we strongly recommend it.
We are always available to answer your questions after your male enhancement procedure. There is no such thing as a stupid question. As much as we tell you before-hand, you won’t really know what to expect and won’t know what is normal and what is not. It is much better for you to be reassured instead of worrying.
